Instant noodles are certainly very popular these days. The reason for this success is the ability to quickly and tasty enough to eat in almost any conditions, if only there was boiling water, which is why it is used on trips, especially by train, taken on hikes and on vacation. Such a product is also indispensable at home or at work, when there is no opportunity or time to cook full-fledged food. In short, the unambiguous positive quality of such noodles is the speed and ease of preparation.
However, most people who eat this product have a very logical question: is instant noodles harmful to our health? After all, rumors have long been circulating that eating it is not only not useful, but also dangerous.
In order to give an answer to this question, you should first understand what exactly instant noodles are, what it consists of and how it is made.
So, the manufacture of this product usually occurs by dehydrogenation. It is the removal by drying at high temperatures of all moisture contained in food. Rapid swelling of noodles in hot water is carried out not only because of this, but also because it contains rather large amounts of emulsifiers, thickeners and starch.
Seasoning of standard noodles consists of salt, sodium glutamate, as well as powder made from soy sauce, and various flavors, the task of which is to imitate the taste of beef, shrimp, chicken, etc. Of all this composition, sodium glutamate is the most harmful, which, as has long been known, acts on taste buds and is addictive, in this case, to the taste of noodles. More expensive instant noodles are seasoned with “meat” from the bag included in the composition. Moreover, such "meat" is nothing more than granular meat waste remaining in the meat industry.
It would seem that there is nothing harmful in the composition of the noodles. There is nothing useful, however. However, scientists and nutritionists argue that all the flavors, dyes and preservatives that contain seasoning can cause serious harm to our body. Frequent ingestion of it threatens digestive system disorders, and sometimes it can even cause serious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract like gastritis or ulcers. This is especially true for children, pregnant women and the elderly, as their body is weaker.
Thus, instant noodles, the harm of which is proved by nutritionists, has a negative effect on the human body. At the same time, noodles made from natural products (egg powder, flour, water) have no negative effect, however, they do not carry anything good in themselves, since they lack fats, vitamins, proteins and other useful elements. That is, besides carbohydrates, there is nothing in it.
Of course, you can eat this product, but eating it should be reduced to the maximum. At the same time, try not to consume the spices from the bag, replacing them with ordinary salt and pepper, and even better - season the noodles with normal, unpacked meat and fresh vegetables. Only in this case instant noodles will not be harmful, but in favor.
Advertising convinces us that such pasta from a bag is a full meal. Like, opened, filled with boiling water and enjoy life after a good meal. And this is also not entirely true. The fact is that due to the low content of vitamins, proteins and other substances necessary for the human body, instant noodles are very low in nutritional value. And this means that after such a “full dinner” you will want to eat in a half to two hours. So it’s better not to poison your body with instant foods, but to eat an apple. Hunger also kills for a short while, but how useful.
