However, this does not mean at all that you will have to switch to a completely fat-free diet, it will be enough to choose a monounsaturated version of the diet, which helps normalize all nutrients in the body.
In principle, a diet for cholesterol does not force you to completely abandon meat, it will be enough to replace the usual too fatty pork and beef varieties with boiled lean meat and poultry, which should be eaten without skin. It is also worth forgetting or minimizing semi-finished products and offal, for example, liver, brains and kidneys, the use of which diverges from proper nutrition as such.
Cooking should be carried out exclusively on vegetable oils, but not on butter or fat. A diet for cholesterol, the approximate menu of which should not exceed 2000 kcal per day, excludes cooking on any animal fat. Both olive and linseed and vegetable oil of the first extraction will be equally useful.
Particular attention should be paid to eating eggs, the number of which per week should not exceed three pieces. Contrary to popular belief, excessive consumption of both yolks and proteins can cause the same harm to the body.
Since carbohydrates increase the “postponeability” of fats in the body, a diet for cholesterol provides for the complete exclusion of cream cakes and various baking from the diet, since such a mixture can increase vascular occlusion to unimaginable proportions. As for dairy products, it should be noted that the most preferred options are with a low percentage of fat or completely fat-free. For example, it can be nonfat yogurt without additives, as well as kefir and curd masses with zero indicators. Contrary to misconceptions, the use of cheese should not be completely interrupted, preferring low-fat varieties.
