An onion diet is one of such diets that allows you to actively move away from extra pounds. Its basis is onion soup. The diet is designed for seven days. During this time, you can easily get rid of 5-6 extra pounds. If the goal is achieved, and you want to repeat, you should remember about the need to give the body a rest for several days (3-4 days).





The main course is onion soup. A diet based on it excludes fatty foods from consumption. It itself does not contain high-calorie foods, and the vegetables that are used to prepare it help the breakdown of fats in the body. They have a low calorie content and are part of many balanced diets. The diet onion soup is characterized by the fact that more energy is spent on the assimilation of the main dish than comes from products that are included in it. Therefore, onion soup is not scary to eat several times a day, without limiting yourself in quantity.





To prepare onion soup, you should take 1 kg of cabbage (preferably white), 6 medium-sized onions, 2 medium pods of bell pepper (according to some, preferably green), a bunch of celery, 2-3 tomatoes (to taste), seasoning or bouillon cube , salt (to taste), you can add spices (pepper, garlic, curry). Vegetables cut and laid in a pan should be poured with cold water. After boiling, everything is cooked for 10 minutes over high heat, and then until cooked (focusing on cabbage) on low.









A diet using onion soup still allows the use of an additional diet, which is scheduled for the week as follows (in addition to the main dish):





1 day: fruit (any, except for high-calorie bananas and grapes);





2 day: any vegetables in a fresh, stewed, boiled form (2-3 baked potatoes are allowed and a little vegetable oil can be added);





Day 3: vegetables (excluding potatoes) and fruits (excluding bananas)





4th day: two to three bananas and up to two glasses of skim milk. The body needs protein-vitamin supplementation. This is a watershed day. Possible mood swings;





5 day: up to 500 grams of boiled lean meat (chicken, beef or fish) and tomatoes;





6 day: meat, vegetables (except potatoes) and greens;





7 day: brown rice, vegetables and fruit juice.





It is more advisable to take onion soup and products of an additional diet in small portions throughout the day, so the feeling of hunger will be better dulled, and the amount of food entering the body will be minimal. During the diet, it is necessary to control the intake of fluids. Its amount should not be less than 2 liters. It is better if it is clean water without gas. Water has a positive effect on the metabolism in the body and contributes to the process of excretion of salts and toxins from the body. Coffee and tea should ideally be deleted from the list, but if it is impossible to refuse them, drink without sugar and milk.





One significant limitation during the onion diet: you can not eat fried foods, bakery and flour products, any sweets, including natural honey, carbonated drinks, including diet drinks, alcohol. It should be remembered that alcohol can be consumed after at least one day after the end of the onion diet.
