Knight's life - online Arena with RPG elements

For those who have not read my previous posts, I am developing a mobile game. Online arena with RPG elements. The main idea of ​​the game is in the arena and in the development of their characters. By characters we mean 3 main classes. Warrior. Mage Robber.



A little about classes



Each class has 4 types of abilities and 3 main characteristics (strength, dexterity, intelligence). In addition to abilities and characteristics, each class has its own weapon. The warrior has a shield and a sword, the mage moves with a staff, and the robber has blades in both hands. The warrior's main attribute in the characteristics is strength. The magician has intelligence. The robber accordingly has agility.



About the characteristics



One attribute of strength gives 50 to life. And gives +2 physical attack to a warrior.

Dexterity gives 0.5 defense and 0.01 attack speed. Gives +2 Physical Attack to a Rogue.

Intelligence gives 30 to mana and 2 points to magic attack. +2 physical attack to mage.

For each level we receive, we are given 3 points, which we can spend on the main characteristics, and also for the class, regardless of the points, additional classes are added to each class. For a warrior + 3 forces, 1 skill, 1 intelligence. For the Magician +3 int, 1str, 1 agi. For a thief +3 agi, 1str, 1 int.



Magical damage is important only to the mage. Abilities of the magician cause damage, magic damage will be added on top of the main one.



Physical damage, all classes can do it. Damage done by hand. Here the weapon that you carry in your hands plays an important role.



Protection plays a very important role as it helps to reduce the damage received from magical and physical damage. The more protection the less damage we take.



Let's talk about classes:



Warrior

Warrior is the first ability. Jumping with a sword (I have not yet come up with a name for abilities). Deals 3x of your current Physical Damage.





Warrior is the second ability. Deals equal damage (100 x Your character's level). Still stuns the enemy for 3 seconds.





Warrior is the third ability. Ideal protection, for this ability to work, you will need to hold and hold the button with magic. When activated, it reduces all damage taken by 70%.





Warrior is an ultimate ability. Gives +30 Strength for 20 seconds. Strength for a war is life and damage, respectively, we get + 1500hp and + 60phis damage. Not so sick. This ability can be combined with the first magic.





FEATURE of game mechanics regarding var (decided to write in capital letters, because a very important part)



As you can see in my game, it’s important not only how you press the buttons with magic, but also the distance between your character and the enemy. In addition to the distance in the game, you can interrupt other people's spells, since each active ability has a slight delay after its activation. If during this delay you are hit, the spell will break and go into cd (cooldown).



Now I think you can tell / show about additional abilities that each class has. This is a jump and acceleration. A jump is an ordinary jump, and acceleration is not exactly acceleration. If the character is standing on the plane, he makes a somersault in accordance with the position of your joystick, but if there is a distance of a greater than a certain size between the character and the plane, then the character accelerates forward along its path.



As you might already have guessed, the acceleration MUST / SHOULD be used with the first and second magic of the var. The video clearly shows an example of the use of magic with / without acceleration.





Magician

Mage The first ability is a stream of fire from the magician’s left hand. Why not right? Because in his right hand he holds a staff. Deals ((50 x Your Mage Level) + Mage Attack). Not sickly, right? But believe me, you still have to get this jet. It is as before, in childhood, in the snow to write your name. :) It rarely turned out ... Joke! In general, this ability is only active when you press and hold the button. But we still need to move left / right and still the camera needs to be rotated in different directions. Consumes (5 x your mage's level) mp / sec. Video with the ability attached.





The magician is the second ability. Blast wave that deals equal damage (100 x Your Mage Level). In addition to causing damage, additionally stuns nearby enemies.





The magician is the third ability. Mana Recovery This magic, like the first ability, is active only when you hold the button. When recovering mana, you cannot move. Restores mana through meditation and the staff that the magician holds in his right hand. You can combine this ability with the first. At the same time replenishing mana and spending. :)





Mage is an ultimate ability. Every one and a half second it creates a wave that deals damage to surrounding targets. The ability is supported, that is, again, it will be necessary to hold the finger on the button to strike. Deals damage (200 x Your Mage Level).





The magician can also combine all the magic with each other. For example, a stream of fire from the left hand, stan \ recovery with the second hand, or accelerate, run into the crowd of enemies to give the camp and use the ultimate ability.



Robber

Robber. The main attribute is agility. Specializes in blades and poisons. Very dexterous, inflicting quick and deadly blows. Moves faster than other classes.



First ability. Being a master of blades, he knows how to deliver an accurate and quick blow. Deals 3x from the current physical. damage. Imposes a poison effect. The poison deals damage every 3 seconds for the next 9 seconds.





Second ability. In addition to blades and poison, the robber has shurikens in his arsenal. The robber throws in a straight trajectory 3 shurikens. Each of them deals damage in the amount of 5% of the total (not to be confused with the current) health reserve and stuns the target for 3 seconds.





The third ability. The master of poison. As a poison master, a robber lubricates all his weapons with deadly poison. The ability is activated when pressed. If an ability is active, every ordinary hit, first ability, second and ultimate ability will impose a poison effect.





Ultimate ability. In addition to shurikens and poison, the blade robber becomes a real killer. The robber begins to dance with blades in his hands creating a whirlwind around him. Then this ability was called the dance of shadows. Deals 8 fast lightning strikes in 0.5 seconds. During the ultimate ability, the rogue deals 50% less damage. This ability may impose a poison effect, provided that the third ability is activated. The video is attached.





All the robber's abilities can be combined with jump and acceleration. As a result, when combined, this all looks pretty good, especially when shurikens fly in a jump. A video with a combination of abilities is included.





Where to apply all this?



I introduced the classes. He also told how classes will be pumped. I also introduced my abilities, and also talked about the combination. Now the question is, where to apply all this?



Option number 1!



Arena. Arena is a location where people fight against each other in real time (i.e. online). One against all. Just there it is all and can \ need to be used. For each kill give experience and pvp points. Just imagine that all these abilities can be used against another player and he, in turn, will try to use his magic against you. Here the fun begins. Gaining experience, you improve your character, getting pvp points you can buy yourself new weapons or improve your magic / weapons.



Option number 2!



Single player mode. So far, only 8 levels have been added. At level 4 and 8 there is a boss. In this mode, you can also test your strength on bots.



Each mode has its own characteristics. In a single player game, you can scout locations, find chests and earn a lot of gold. But you can not get pvp points. In the arena, in turn, little gold falls out, but you get pvp points.
