For each team there are just events, but there are those for which you are especially preparing. For us at Reksoft, this is the Software Engineering Conference Russia or SECR, which will be held on November 14-15 in St. Petersburg.
For us, this is not just a party of developers, team leaders, architects, designers and testers, but almost a native home, the very atmosphere of our offices in St. Petersburg, Voronezh and Rostov-on-Don is what we breathe. Only here the office space will expand, and it will be possible to communicate with colleagues from different parts of the country. According to recent estimates, there will be more than 700 specialists from different areas. SECR is a great place where you can learn the latest methodologies, ideas, development trends. We are waiting for communication, a special atmosphere, lamp coffee breaks, lunches and a party.
So, preparation for SECR for us began with the fact that our colleague, Zurab Bely , team leader of Reksoft , entered the program committee. Of the 158 reports that were submitted to the committee, 100 were selected. Four of them are made by the Reksoft landing party from Voronezh! Above is a photo of these wonderful people.

So, on the first day of November 14, at 15:45, the very Zurab Bely (he is centered in the photo) will appear in the DevOps stream . His report, “How We Sorted the Engine Without Stopping the Car,” is the history of the Reksoft project for S7 Airlines. If from his words, then you will have a story about how we rewrote the ancient code on new technologies, abandoned the commercial CMS and did everything possible so as not to get bogged down in the abyss of code throughout the entire transition period, and most importantly, the customer was satisfied. Then we proceed smoothly at 17:50 to the Education flow hall . There, our colleague Olga Savchenko , HR manager at Reksoft, will tell you all about "Internships in IT companies: how to organize it and get maximum efficiency at the lowest cost . " Olga will share her real experience of what works and what doesn’t happen during internships. All the nuances of organizing an internship were tested in the regional Reksoft development center for students from Voronezh State University. Spoiler: want for nothing and for PR - there won’t be any sense. If you need new forces in the team - come to the report, we will tell you in the best possible way.
Now ... here's the trouble ... two cool reports from us, but at the same time .... In the Education flow hall at 18:30 , again Zurab Bely will make one of the most anticipated reports of the event entitled “Is there life after Signora?” . Many developers, starting with juniors and ending with Signors, see only one way of their development - management. They plan to move into project managers or become technical managers. But the IT sphere is much wider, there are much more development options. You can grow, not only gaining new skills, but also improving existing ones. It will be interesting not only for beginners, but also for experienced developers who have not yet decided on their fate or are just tired of writing code.
Well, and another unusual presentation on November 14 at 18:30 from Sergey Pushkin, the Java developer of Reksoft , (he is on the right in the photo above) on the topic “Life without ctrl Z and loss of attentiveness at work” .
