Panda Frontend Meetup # 22 content: plugins, sophisticated data, testing, declarative Angular

Hello! This is a post-report from Panda Meetup # 22, which took place at Avito's office. We discussed property-based testing, working with β€œcomplex” data (objects with a large nesting and cunning structure), vue-cli plugins, and declarative Angular (why not?).

Come under the cat if you are interested in these topics. Inside you will find meeting materials: presentations of speakers, videos, guest reviews of the mitap and links to the photo report.

Reports

Very weird testing. Nazim Gafarov (Mail.ru)

Nazim, in his talk, examined the benefits of property-based testing. He started with simple mathematical functions, gradually complicating the samples to real-life examples.

A video of the report will appear here later, but for now you can see the presentation .

Reviews

An interesting topic, prompted me to try to write my first tests.

An interesting look at testing, I thought about a lot.

Simple difficulties. Alexey Okhrimenko (Avito)

Alexey showed how to work with objects with great nesting and a cunning structure: how to process them, select the necessary, use tools.

This tool can be very useful, it was interesting.

Vue-cli plugins Simple, fast and why. Mikhail Rosin (Voximplant)

Mikhail, along with his students, walked on the vue-cli instrumentation. We talked about how to create plugins with our own people, looked at strangers.

Not the first report by Mikhail I hear, as usual, a lot of useful specifics

Declarative Angular. Andrey Grekov (IndigoSoft)

Together with Andrei, we looked at what NGXF is and learned how structural directives work, how to write your own and what it might be for.

Spectacular report.

It was very interesting to listen and observe. Loved the coding in real time. Very cool. I would like more reports from him.

Afterparty

By tradition, we continued the mitap in the pub closest to the office. The conversation about front-end development has moved on the sidelines.
