It was getting dark.
2019 is drawing to a close, with New Year's Eve and an inverted calendar sheet just around the corner. On the Internet, I came across one photo, and then in a fog, I decided to repeat it.

For a long time, about three days, I was looking for their drawing of this product, since I never cut plywood, I turned to the forums. I read, delved, studied. As a result, a file was found in the backyards that was transferred to the owner of the CNC machine with a laser sight for burning.
Having received the first samples of chopped plywood and realizing that the file is our everything, I decided to fix the sketch. Having adjusted all sizes, the location of the holes and other things, I got the second version of my chopped plywood. Everything came up, everything is tight, move on.
Electronic brains
Since the reverse part of the backlight in my idea should be LED and the sense of megalomania made me control each diode, my choice fell on ws2812b . And how to control these diodes? Correctly! Arduino . Fortunately, the great and mighty AlexGyver explains everything in detail and uploads pictures.
Gathering knowledge on a piece of paper , drawing a diagram and compiling a list of spare parts, my path was directed to VseKomponenty.ru for all the components for this product.

And now, having brought all the details of my puzzle home, and as I should have freed the kitchen table, pouring a mug of hot tea, while the Siberian blizzard started outside the window, I began to collect.
Slowly opening the packaging of the tape with soldered multi-colored bulbs.
I began to try on, measure and cut pieces of tape.
Then a hot gun fired using hot melt glue.
A few minutes later, a soldering iron and wires

And after that came the stage of laying wires
After some time, and several cups of tea, the design was assembled.
Having connected the USB cable to the PC, I skipped the sketch, so the New Year mood came!
