Not so long ago, Russian Post launched the Easy Return service, but not everyone knows about it, even in post offices. And here the question is not even “when?”, But “who?” Will make me lose my premise. I’ll write right away that the epic has just begun, and it is not yet clear how it will end.

The thing started with the fact that I decided to buy a used motherboard for a cellular one. The phone is idle with a broken board, and somehow I feel sorry for him. Having searched the Internet, I found offers (in Russia) in about 5 tr. and almost already agreed with the inevitable, but looking at Aliexpress I saw offers half the price. Why not? (Here was the main mistake).



Well, as they say, all names are fictitious and any coincidence is accidental ...



I found a seller who has a good rating, although not many shipments, good reviews and beautiful pictures . Below was even an instruction on how to properly replace so as not to damage the goods. The total cost was a little over 2500r, which, in principle, is acceptable.

A friendly seller, sent me pictures like my board, about how it is not locked, all gigabytes are in place, and the fingerprint works fine. I got ready to wait a month, although something was announced for about 2 weeks.



The goods arrived on time and I made a note of receipt on the site. After a quick check, a problem was found with the modem (most likely) - there was no sound during the conversation and there were all kinds of hangs. Immediately opened a dispute, sent videos and pictures of the board and specifically that the modem was without a compound, was removed accordingly and was apparently badly planted. I did not begin to repair it, because I did not know in what condition the board under it.



Huangcheng (apparently this name) turned out to be a talkative Chinese and gave me a lot of advice on how to check the board correctly, he assured me that the board is fully functional, but I can not check it correctly, etc. After a few days, he even kindly invited me to agree to the dispute, indicating the amount of return "0 r".



By clicking on the "Guaranteed Refund" on my Aliexpress website (under my product), I saw:

Before that, I already made a refund for the damaged goods, therefore, in principle, I know how this happens. Throwing in the argument yet “evidence” that I did not get what I wanted when I bought it, I started to wait again. A few days later I received a notification from Aliexpress that it was time to end the dispute and was asked to make a “Return of goods and funds”. That is, I have to send the fee back and spend the money on shipping (then I did not know about the Easy Return service). Hm, okay ...



The fun begins



Arriving at the post office, I said that I want to send the package to China.



Once I already had to make a flash drive return to 8GB, since it was bought at 256GB. Before my eyes, memories flew through in an instant, as I filled out an incomprehensible postal form for international shipments, tried to estimate the cost of the drive and not be mistaken in the correctness of the fields, indicating the address and name of the recipient (later it will be clear why).



In the morning, our mail is empty and only three employees were bored waiting for visitors. I went to the first window with my motherboard packed with a foam box. An employee of the post office asked if I want to return the goods previously purchased on Aliexpress, to which I answered in the affirmative.



“There are no packages, we can offer a box ...” she said.

“I don't care ...” I answered.

“But I don't know how to send her.”



My parcel passed into the hands of the second employee of the post office. I moved to the second window. People began to arrive and take up empty seats.



- Let's just rewind it with tape? - suggested the second employee.

- No, by the rules you need a box or package. - answered the first.

- Let me see? - the employee suggested from the third window.



I neatly switched places with the queue, freeing the second window and taking the third.



- So it's easy! This is a quick return.

- ???

- Now we quickly weigh, arrange. You can also rewind it with tape.

- !!!

- So, 38 grams, state your last name and first name.

- And I do not have to fill out a form with the address and name of the recipient?

- No, we have a contract, they will figure it out themselves ...

- No address and full name ???

- Of course!



I give my data, a check comes out of the cash register. An employee marks the track number with a dot.

- So, I owe 263 rubles for sending ... in cash or by card?

- No, free - this is an easy free return.

- ???

- Well, I said that we have a contract.



And it was at that moment that I realized that most likely I would not see either the parcel or the money for it.



- And here I have the address "fu yong zhen san xing gong ye qu 4dong3louB3fang", the city here is indicated "shen zhen shi guang dong sheng", phone number ...

- Young man, we already sent like that, everything will be fine.



The first thing I did when I reached my computer was that I hit the issued track number on the site pochta.ru.

The number makes its way - it pleases. But “Mother's Day” was last week ... Maybe they are already aiming for 2020?

Dear Huangcheng, I immediately wrote “Tracking ticket no.”, Such as a track does not track. To which I sent him a picture of the check. In Aliexpress, the status has changed to “Buyer add tracking details.” Well add, so add. True, the refund period has doubled (in Fig. 5., Against Fig. 2.)

Conclusion



I still have a double feeling from the Easy Return service. After reading the forums on this topic, I still did not understand whether everything went right. Should the purchased item not be marked as “Free Return” or should I not have sent the package for money as a small package? The names are different on the forums, I met both “Unconditional return” and “Guaranteed return”. The check also says the amount of “Shipping Fee”, but they don’t take money. The Russian Post website (without registration) could not find complete information about the service.



The website of Aliexpress clarified the situation a bit, on which it is written that the product should have a “Free Return” badge, but then, how did I use the service? Will the package reach the sender?
