Tetris challenge accepted

Hello, Habr !

A week ago, you called us to lie on the carpet during working hours, and we could not miss it.

We have tough guys with interesting hobbies every second. Therefore, it was not easy to choose, but we still tried.

Let's go!

Lena, Head of Offline Marketing

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a teacher and even studied for three years at a pedagogical university (but then something went wrong).

In the Tinkoff.ru team, I am responsible for the offline direction - from printing and souvenirs to sponsoring large-scale festivals and concerts.

I love surfing. This is not very mutual with us, but the main thing is the pleasure of the process and the people around!

Masha, Content Services Development Team Leader

As a child, I just did not want to be - from an archaeologist to a veterinarian.

For 2 years at Tinkoff.ru I am the head of the content services development group and business analyst. We make the process of filling the content of our unauthorized zone understandable and enjoyable and this makes life easier for colleagues. I love that the team supports my adventurous ideas, masters new technologies, moves the product forward and itself never stands still.

Now my hobby is equestrian sport, this hobby is more than 16 years old. I also like skiing and biking.

Nikita, Head of Automated Testing

My father was a military man, so as a child I wanted to become a weapon designer.

And now I lead automated testing at Tinkoff.ru, collect knives, make tinctures and write about them on Instagram.

How did I become a manager? At first there was development, then testing (and right away with code, not hands), then I went deeper into test automation. Over time, I realized that I, as an engineer, can do a lot, but I canโ€™t do everything that needs to be done - this requires other engineers, coordination of their actions, an accurate understanding of goals and limitations.

In my work I appreciate a clear understanding of the result and awareness. In a team - an individual responsibility of everyone for what he or she is doing, as well as a sense of collective responsibility for a common cause.

Pasha, DevOps

I am a DevOps engineer, I am responsible for the Tinkoff.ru front-end system.

You will laugh, but in my childhood I dreamed of being ... a banker! In those years, I had a completely different idea about the profession, but, letโ€™s say, the dream came true.

I came to work at Tinkoff.ru 4 years ago. He started in the department of incoming calls, then he was engaged in manual testing, and then became interested in system administration and DevOps-culture. All this would not have happened if it were not for the coherence of our work, its flexibility and the relationship between colleagues.

In my free time I play video games and in a group play bass. Guys, if you hear me: let's push it up and release the full album!

Artem, Head of Mobile Development SME

I came to Tinkoff.ru 7 years ago as a senior iOS developer on a mobile bank 2.0 project. Then there was the Mobile Wallet project.

A little more than 4 years ago, we decided to start servicing legal entities, and I left to do Tinkoff Business. With the advent of individual projects "for lawyers" and the overall growth in the number of developers (we are already 40 in the mobile SME), there are much more administrative tasks, and my role has changed to "department head".

In childhood, he dreamed of becoming a veterinarian: he constantly dragged home various kittens, puppies and other hamsters, and then he saw the presentation of the iPhone. Most of all in the work I appreciate people about the overall result. I respect constructiveness and endurance in difficult circumstances. In my free time, as you already guessed from the photo, I am fond of off-road motor sports and traumatology (just kidding). I love extreme enduro somewhere on the Crimean coast.

If the rest is only active and two-wheeled, well, or a snowboard. I always wanted a Instagram photo from the office on a motorcycle. After the publication of the article, I surely bang. Come on like: artyomkiss

Tanya, Developer relations manager

In early childhood, I dreamed of becoming a crane operator, then a conductor, and in 1997 I watched the film โ€œHackersโ€. Of the technical in my arsenal, only developers - I myself did not become an engineer.

I have 13 years of experience working as an eychar in leading IT companies, the last 2 years I have been building DevPr in Tinkoff. In August 2019, Julia joined me, and now we are engaged in construction together :)

In my work, openness, curiosity, trust and honesty are important to me.

In our free time, we do educational pet project with a friend, so there is no free time yet. When it appears, I will spend it on traveling.

Tetris Challenge for me is associated with an ice pack between IT companies. It was fun!
