There was no desire to search for the necessary (to get used to). Most of all I work in Excel with worksheet functions, so I missed a bit IF ERROR, its advantages were obvious. I returned to the tabs only in 2010. Praise heaven, in 2013 they added a button. What do you want to do? I sometimes use it because I donโt know where is what I need. I still do not understand why it was necessary to change the user interface and location.
Recently, it was necessary to make an identical interface on different machines, and several interesting features were revealed. I want to say right away that I'm talking about a local account, about mail on mail.ru and the cloud there (100GB, free).

Be sure to completely remove the previous office and additionally installed programs to it. Not to say very annoying. But they could not mount the code for this in the installer themselves? In addition, the old office may have personal settings. Itโs so cool to have them automatically in a new one. Of course, you can save the panel settings, BUT the Personal file needs to be created anew and again (!) To bind and rename buttons on the user toolbar to macros from the personal macro book.
Outlook is not easy either. Microsoft provides the ability to synchronize some folders, but not all (junk email settings lists are not synchronized) on different devices if you have Exchange or Outlook.com mail. Moreover, as far as I know, in VBA there is no possibility to do this even in semi-automatic mode: export / import to a file with a macro.
Having this experience, I created a file with quite detailed instructions for setting up panels, views and other things, as well as data export files. I'll use it next week. Xiaomi did not justify traveling, I will set up a new laptop.
Nevertheless, the limits of creating a tool that is convenient for the consumer are interesting.
