It just so happened that we at Dodo Pizza Engineering not only saw the Dodo IS system, but also read a lot about the food tech news. A ton of amusing information passes through me: either the Petri dish with the muscle cells of the cow will be sent to space, then they will invent another edible dish, or they will decide to label the products with algae, so that it is more convenient to track the movement of food around the world. There are many stories, just have time to read, and cover your mouth with your palm in surprise. Today we will talk about food tech devices of the world.
Most of all from the stream of new products I am concerned about the mechanisms. Well, that is, appliances. Well, you get the point. Only today I realized that they all have similar features:
mobile applications are necessarily written for them;
in their names or description there is an epithet βsmartβ;
they all want to improve the quality of human life.
How it works : the camera is fixed inside the refrigerator. Each time the refrigerator door closes, a bird flies out and the camera takes a photo. This Wi-Fi image is transferred to the Fridge Eye app installed on your phone. In the store, you look into the application to get the most up-to-date picture of the chill, and not spend money on duplicate food.
Fridge Eye Options :
Shows what is in the refrigerator now.
In the application, you can maintain a shopping list.
In the application, you can track expiration dates (but somehow dreary and long).
How it works : the pan has built-in weight and temperature sensors. Included is an application with a voice assistant. By synchronizing the application with a frying pan via bluetooth, you can cook dishes from the recipe catalog.
SmartyPans Options :
You can create your own recipe and share it with other users of the application.
You can take a ready-made recipe for other users, and the pan will suggest how to cook the dish, counting along the way the weight of the products and the cooking time.
How it works : 0.5 liter bottle connected to an electronic database. Cartridges with fruit flavors / electrolytes are inserted into the base. Of course, the addition of flavors / electrolytes to the water occurs through the application.
LifeFuels Options :
The device says when itβs time for you to drink.
The process of adding electrolytes can be observed forever, like a lava lamp.
How it works : a plate equipped with a display on which the image and video sequence can be displayed. Management through the application, with which you can select the desired pattern, texture for projection on a plate.
DishCanvas Options :
Can add value to dishes when used in lux restaurants.
It can attract the attention of the child to the cartoon at the bottom of the plate and distract from the fact that you have to eat vegetables.
How it works : in appearance, the device is somewhat reminiscent of a vape, only it works not by inhalation, but by exhalation. The device measures the level of CO2 in your exhale to indicate what you are currently burning: carbohydrates or fat. Based on this analysis, a diet program / individual daily nutrition plan is issued.
Lumen Options :
Gives an individual nutrition plan for the day.
Can analyze metabolism before and after sports training.
Japanese company KAGOME CO. (a tomato food producer) has created a robot that will feed you tomatoes while you run the marathon. People taking part in the Tokyo marathon really need macro and micronutrients contained in tomatoes to fight fatigue all the way. Of course, this was originally not a product development, but a marketing ploy. Despite this, the Tomatan robot will forever remain in my heart.
That's all! Would you buy any of the devices shown?
