October 14-15: Bootcamp of the global blockchain project Hyperledger for the first time in Moscow

There is no better place for the first steps in the blockchain than the bootcamp of the global blockchain project Hyperledger, which will be held in Moscow on October 14 and 15. This is the first such event in Russia and a good opportunity not only to see with your own eyes how the platform works, but also to try yourself in each of its directions, be it Hyperledger Fabric , Sawtooth or Iroha , to once and for all decide what attracts you the most blockchain.



Blockchain is not the easiest technology to get started, so special attention at the event is paid to the training of participants. It is not necessary to be a developer or to be able to code to come to an event. Most of the time is devoted to practice, everything is shown and told to help new participants get comfortable. Beginners begin with work on project documentation and bug reports, and only then proceed to fix minor bugs. The main emphasis is on teamwork and the search for new like-minded people.



In addition to developers, testers, project managers, designers, copywriters - all those who want to work with Hyperledger offer to join the bootcamp. You will be able to independently choose the direction you are interested in and immediately gain experience with precisely those blockchain technologies that you need. And if you do not want to dwell on one thing, then two days will be quite enough to try yourself everywhere and exchange knowledge with several teams at once.



This year, Hyperledger has already held two bootcamps in Brazil and Hong Kong. Beginners, under the guidance of mentors, fixed bugs and tried to write the first code, and experienced participants presented their projects and developed new cases, recruiting a team on the spot. The first Hyperledger bootcamp was held March 7-8 in Hong Kong.





He has gathered over 130 developers and blockchain enthusiasts.



The event starts at 10:00 . The theoretical part consists of two parallel streams with reports and discussions in mini-groups - choose what you like best. By the way, on the bootcamp website you can offer your own topic for a presentation or discussion. Feel free to ask questions: the more there will be, the better.



The event is held both in Russian and in English.



In Russia, the Nornickel company became a bootcamp partner, which, based on the Hyperledger project, develops tools for creating public blockchains using Hyperledger Fabric technology. In addition, under an agreement between Norilsk Nickel and IBM, a Laboratory for the Study and Development of Blockchain Technologies was created on the basis of MIPT, on the basis of which a master's program in distributed registry systems was launched this fall. Lab instructors will also take part in the bootcamp, and discuss with the community current changes in Hyperledger.



Session leaders will be experts from the iPChain association, the community of blockchain developers in St. Petersburg, Norilsk Nickel, Oracle, Sberbank, Russian Railways, S7, Soramitsu.
