Hello, Habr! September has come, which means that the time has come for the annual Fujitsu World Tour conference, which we will traditionally hold in Moscow on September 18. We invite all who are not indifferent to modern information technologies to spend this day with us. Be sure to talk about (and of course show) the latest Fujitsu developments, Artificial Intelligence, quantum computing and much more. All the details under the cut.
You can register for the Fujitsu World Tour 2019 until September 16 inclusive.
This year, focus is on trust, especially trust in technology. Indeed, you must admit that modern technology does not so much delight us, but more and more scares us. The same “black box” of Artificial Intelligence (when we know what was at the input, we see the information at the output, but what happened inside is completely incomprehensible) makes us wonder over and over again the question “can we trust AI if we do not understand the course of his thought” . Therefore, Vitaliy Fridlyand, Fujitsu CEO in Russia and the CIS, will talk about how to restore confidence in technology in a welcoming speech.
Dr. Joseph Reger, a true visionary in the field of modern IT and also the technical director of Fujitsu EMEIA, will perform after him. The topic of Dr. Reger's speech will be quantum computing. And although before the first really working quantum computers, we probably have so far as stars, Joseph has several ideas on how not to wait for a distant bright quantum future and to actively use quantum computing now.
A good addition to the conversation about quantum computing and what tomorrow is preparing for us will be the report by Udo Würtz on Artificial Intelligence. We have already touched upon the problem of the “black box” of AI, so Fujitsu is creating Explainable AI, that is, Artificial Intelligence that can explain the whole process and the reasons for the decision made.
But the conference will not consist of a series of monologues and presentations, because Fujitsu World Tour 2019 is, first of all, a platform for communication, exchange of experience and knowledge, a place where they make new friends and meet old friends.
And of course, you can’t do without demo zones where you can not only watch, but turn in your hands and try out the latest Fujitsu developments in action. Ultrabooks, transformers, workstations, servers, storage and much more - we will present to your attention everything!
Here's how it was last year:
