Chips. Benefit or harm to the body?

When the first chips appeared in America in the fifties of the 19th century, their benefits or harms were not yet discussed. It was just thinly sliced โ€‹โ€‹and fried in oil with spices potatoes, which received huge popularity subsequently around the world. But time passed, technology changed. Chips began to be made from dry mashed potatoes, cornmeal, to which starch, various flavors, additives and preservatives were added.

More and more enterprises began to take on a popular product. I wanted to reduce the cost of technology, so everything was used, especially monosodium glutamate, which can improve the taste of any, even the worst food. In addition, it causes dependence among people who consume it. Thus, the composition and structure of the product beloved by everyone called chips was modified. The benefit or harm from it has already become the subject of study of entire groups of scientists around the world.

The situation began to worsen by the fact that today, in the manufacture of chips, high-quality and clean oil is replaced by cheap oil. In addition, it rarely changes during the preparation of a product (in order to save). As a result, carcinogens accumulate. This is another minus of the use of such a beloved product as chips. Benefit or harm - if you weigh these indicators, then the scales are clearly leaning toward harm. In addition, the acrylamides formed in the product when processed with high temperatures further indicate the harmfulness of chips to the body.

But do not flatter yourself, thinking that abandoning this product, everything else can be safely eaten. The harm of chips is half the trouble. There are crackers, no less loved by hunters for using this product with beer, and besides, the children crunch them with frightening constancy. All this should especially alert parents, because the health of children directly depends on what they eat.

The problem is that children love crackers and chips. The benefit or harm to them is an abstract concept. For them, the main criterion is delicious. And manufacturers are trying to add as many additives as possible to these products, which will ensure the desire to eat them again and again. These products are no less harmful to the female body. Scientists believe that those women who consume one pack of crackers per day run the risk of earning cancer twice as much as those who do not eat them at all.

Scientists already several years ago began to sound the alarm, finding out the harm of chips and crackers. In the modern version, they contain too much large amount of fat, salt, preservatives, disintegrants, flavorings and other โ€œusefulโ€ substances. There are no vitamins and other necessary ingredients for the body. Parents should explain to their children how much these products can undermine their health and try to replace all this with healthy foods.

But since a simple prohibition does not save children from this chips addiction, one of the Dnepropetrovsk teachers went for an experiment. Tired of proving to her wards that they are ruining their health by consuming these products in unmeasured quantities, she did the following. She simply put four cages with rats in the classroom. And she began to feed them in front of all children with their favorite products. One - with chips, the second with crackers, the third was sprinkled with sodium glutamate, and the animals from the fourth cage were fed only with healthy food. They were given cereals, fruits and vegetables.

As a result, the children could clearly see what happened to their wards. It seems that many of them after the experiment refused both chips and crackers. Seen for a long time stuck in the brain - cirrhosis of the liver, hair loss, blindness, digestive disorders and the death of animals. And although many adults did not share the โ€œbarbaricโ€ methods of the Dnepropetrovsk teacher, the fact is clear: the children seriously realized the harmfulness of these products and saw with their own eyes the results of their use.
