Protein diet is the key to a good figure

A beautiful figure is a dream of each of us. Probably, many have tried a myriad of diets and many methods of losing weight. Not all restrictions pass for the body painlessly. One of the softest options for stabilizing weight is a protein diet.

Often, in order to satisfy our hunger, we eat a huge amount of food that we would never have eaten when we were full. At the same time, we combine unbelievable combinations of products, while we also eat 1.5 to 2 times more than the body needs to saturate. We often eat foods with easily digestible carbohydrates, the results of which quickly leave an imprint on our figure.

Protein diet is designed, if not to exclude our bad habits of overeating, then at least minimize them. It is aimed at burning body fat through the use of protein foods. In this case, the principle is triggered: the more proteins we absorb, the more intensively the body’s reserves of body fat are consumed. A significant amount of energy is spent on the breakdown of proteins, since in eating we sharply limited the amount of fats and carbohydrates consumed. There is nothing left for the body but to use the reserves of adipose tissue. Protein diet just provides such a metabolism.

This diet requires the correct distribution of food at certain intervals. It is worth considering the individual capabilities of the body.

Protein diet is designed for a decade. Therefore, it is better to choose the days between the holidays, when the temptations can be minimized. When is the most appropriate protein drink? It is preferable in the cold season, when the body needs a nutritious food to maintain all vital processes. In summer, you always want lighter foods: we are more active at this time, which in itself already stimulates weight correction.

When choosing days between the holidays, when it is most justified to take protein, it is also worth considering that after the diet is over, the intake of carbohydrates and fats should take place with a gradual increase in their percentage, that is, in a sparing mode. This adaptation period will be approximately 10 more days.

Protein diet, like many others, involves the exclusion or severe restriction of any group of products. Therefore, its frequent and prolonged use can lead to negative consequences. There are a number of conditions when a protein diet is a contraindication: oncological diseases, pregnancy and lactation, the recovery period after illness, the age of 14 years, a person, and also it is undesirable for people performing heavy physical work.

Protein diet requires the following requirements:

  • the amount of daily fluid intake should be at least 2-2.5 liters (this includes tea, coffee without sweeteners);
  • fractional nutrition is recommended : the number of meals should be 4-5 times a day;
  • no later than 3 hours before bedtime should be the last meal;
  • as sauces for dishes, only vegetable oil can be;
  • it is better to cook foods in a gentle mode (stewing, steaming).

At the same time, during the diet, the following products are excluded from the diet: dairy products, cereals and flour products, sugar and fruits, alcohol, canned and pickled dishes. The diet must contain: meat (pork, beef, rabbit), any poultry, river and sea fish, eggs (no more than 5 pieces per week), vegetables with a low content of starchy substances (cabbage, cucumbers), mushrooms. You can drink herbal teas and fees, tea, coffee.

A protein diet allows you to lose up to 5 kilograms in 10 days, but more often than once every 2-3 months it should not be used.
