Zabbix Summit 2019: what to expect this year
From October 11 to 12 this year, the annual, ninth, Zabbix company summit will be held in Riga. As usual, the conference program will be as diverse as possible - not only reports, but also many other interesting events. Let's take a closer look.
Of course, the most important part of the conference is its informational component, therefore we tried to make the selection of topics as diverse as possible. There will be several technical topics from the Zabbix team - the executive director and founder of Zabbix Alexey Vladyshev will tell you in detail and with practical examples about the new version of program 4.4, and technical support engineers will share knowledge and examples of successful use of Zabbix from their practice. Many interesting reports were prepared by invited speakers. You can familiarize yourself with the detailed schedule of performances here .
Let's be honest - this is a point that brings the community together like no other. As usual, we have prepared three entertaining events for you: before, during and after the summit. Stay tuned - soon we will publish a detailed program every evening.
At the beginning of the second day of the summit, October 12, several practical workshops from technical support engineers and Zabbix partners will be held for visitors. This year we have planned six workshops. You can sign up for a workshop of interest on the spot a day earlier. Please do not forget that to participate in the workshop you need to have your own portable computer with a pre-installed Zabbix.
Each year, we provide the opportunity for visitors to take the Zabbix exam and get a certificate without taking a course at a reduced price. This year will not be an exception - if you are confident in your knowledge, feel free to sign up for the exam. We also took care of those participants who would like during one trip not only to attend the summit, but also to pass our training. Please read the schedule of training courses and register in advance in order to secure a place for the training.
For the first time during the summit, we decided to invite all interested Zabbix users to visit us. On Thursday, October 10th, we will open the doors of our head office in Riga, tell and show how we work, answer many questions and treat ourselves to coffee. If you intend to visit us, please let us know in advance at conference@zabbix.com so that we can send you all the details.
