Speaking of rights, you should make a simple reservation. Rights to what? Rights to certain actions. So this is some kind of agreement on which actions ... are allowed? Acceptable? Who and for what? That is, this agreement between those who can act (and know about it) and whose actions can be perceived and identified as ... conscious? That is, aimed at something, for some purpose. Satisfying some desire.
Not so simple and get a reservation.
What comes out? Actions taken in view of necessity identify the being with its composition. But this only makes sense for the totality of beings.
Lyrical digression explaining the essence of the aggregate can be made in the direction of quantum mechanics. The totality is something different, but at the same time similar, something that differs less among themselves than from something else.
There is such a term, superposition. Usually it is used for something secretive. In a certain unobservable space-time dimension. Like bosons, they can occupy the same quantum state in any quantities. Superposition is a collection of many phenomena. Interacting with superposition, we find one of all the hidden phenomena.
But what if we consider explicit superposition? Many almost identical, but slightly different objects are distributed in space-time. But what if we do not distinguish between these space-time dimensions? Is it any different from hidden superposition? The question does not require an answer (but not rhetorical).
The invariant of all measurements is the interval. Fermions are always in a non-zero (observed by us) interval. And bosons can have a zero interval, as if there is still an unobservable measurement.
But what if we abandon our ability to observe and eliminate any certainty in the dimension? Let the interval become quantum. That is - a superposition. We do not know all its components and do not know their connectedness.
What then? What do we perceive within this interval? Someone else's suitcase, which, if shaken, various objects fall out of it.
The theory of knowledge is similar to this. Certainty arises from superposition. Part of this certainty takes place in the space of time. All the same quantum superposition, but represented explicitly, in the form of a variety of qualities and attributes separated in space and time. At the same time, the unknown is still in a latent state β a superposition in which there are variants with different probabilities, but their separation in some dimension is hidden from us. In this sense, the time dimension is hidden from us. It is realized without turning around in space. We can say, then, that all hidden dimensions are hidden from us as well as the dimension of time. And we can well consider all the concealment of measurement as one - timelike. Something for us is either manifested, or not, either earlier, or later, or more often, or less.
When we look at a community of people or a scattering of similar objects, we recognize the totality geometrically. But the hidden properties of interactions are not revealed to us - they unfold in action.
And we allow certain actions based on a certain order, preserving what we consider ourselves or ours. The subject of law is what we can influence, restrict in possible degrees of freedom.
Therefore, if we create a robot or a virtual AI assistant, we expect some behavior from it and do not expect another.
And as long as we program the behavior explicitly, we place the responsibility for the acceptability of the actions on the programmer.
However, a self-learning algorithm can perform actions for which the programmer is not responsible. Who then is responsible? Algorithm?
If we are talking about a robot, to which we can explain which actions are acceptable and which are not, and he will regulate his behavior based on this information - he becomes a subject of law.
That is, the hidden dimension, the hidden superposition of the degrees of freedom is already the very consciousness that controls what is manifested in external manifestations.
Quantum mechanics is similar to statistics precisely because it works with probability spectra. It does not matter, they are hidden or explicit. Just as with a certain probability, a quantum object is reduced to one of the possible states, so many cubes, until they are thrown onto the table, contain all possible states of each individual cube. And it doesnβt matter if we roll a 1 or 2 or 25 die, itβs still the same reduction.
Reduction is a property of consciousness. The quantum world as a whole is not defined. It is necessary to fix a certain set of qualities, limit the possibilities. Then that which is consciousness is manifested, but only for another consciousness. And what is this other consciousness - a spatially separated other object, or the same object divided by a hidden dimension - is an invariant question. From which side to look.
Therefore, the key point is that consciousness does not need to be created, as a specific entity, algorithm or mechanism. Every moment of consciousness is in superposition with all the others.
This means that the subjects of law are only in mutual action. And if a certain algorithm limits its behavior to communication with us, it immediately turns out to be the same subject of law as we do. The degree is variable. Whether it is a trained flea that does not jump until it is acceptable by someone or something, or it is an intelligence able to communicate on philosophical topics, considering its free will so that its degrees are incalculable.
