Must-have coworking: without which the communal office is unthinkable?

What is coworking? Despite the fact that the number of sites for collaboration and networking around the world is growing exponentially, many do not realize what it really is. The topic of the advantages of coworking both in front of classical and home offices should be given special attention, and we will not discuss this today. And we’ll tell you better about what makes a real coworking different from a “commerce”, and how residents choose a site to work with pleasure.

1. The space for "working"

The very concept of “co-working” gives an unambiguous hint at the workflow. In order for all residents to be comfortable doing their business in the “communal office”, it is necessary to create a comfortable environment for everyone. We at Workki divided the workspace into 3 different blocks.

The first and most modest in terms of space (unlike most of our competitors) is open space. This open area is located closest to the entrance and is ideal for temporary employment or those residents who are not confused by extraneous sounds. Each table in open space is equipped with a personalized lockable drawer, which is convenient to remove personal belongings. A place in this block can be “fixed”, or each visit can be chosen from the most liked ones.

The office is the perfect option for a team where all employees interact with each other. From the neighbors of residents separates the glass partition, which, if desired, can be covered with a matte film. In addition to the furniture already in the office, the owners can also place something of their own here, for example, a shelving, office equipment or a palm tree in a pot.

Those who will skype-call, very useful single booths, which are almost soundproof. And some residents like this place so much that they don’t mind staying working in a secluded atmosphere even after the call ends.

Even in Workki, you can do business on the summer terrace, swaying in a hammock or lying on a lounger, as well as having a cup of aromatic coffee in Artemy Lebedev’s cafeteria.

A separate room is allocated for the local office equipment: fax, printer, scanner, etc.

Of course, one cannot do coworking without negotiation rooms, which should be equipped not only with furniture, but also with telecommunication equipment.

2. Beauty that does not require sacrifice

Coming to the communal office, residents expect to immediately begin work without unnecessary worries. The absence of the need to invest in the repair and purchase of furniture by tenants is a huge advantage of co-working compared to a classic office. That is why the one and the other here should be beautiful, comfortable and of high quality.

For example, during a survey of Workki residents, it turned out that most of them decided to choose this co-working just under the impression of the interior and atmosphere.

A distinctive feature of all our coworkings (of which there will soon be 3) is spacious rooms, high ceilings and designer renovations. After all, when the walls are “crushed”, the chairs are hard, and it is terrible to enter the lavatory - no desire will work. Therefore, high-quality repairs in coworking are important.

3. Work (,) can not (,) rest

During the day, the comma moves from one part of the sentence to the other; therefore, in real coworking there must be places for quality relaxation. Change from the chair to the sofa is not an option. To spend the rest of the day productively, it is important to truly relax and switch to something interesting, for example, play table tennis. And Workki residents are even more fortunate: they don’t need to go downstairs to breathe in the fresh air, as co-working has its own veranda with cozy seating. Well, how, then, to come to terms with the fact that the case time, but fun only an hour?

4. Spoon for dinner

Cutlery, kettle, microwave, refrigerator - everything should be available in the kitchen area of coworking for those who are used to carry food with them. At the same time, a cafeteria, a cafe, a mini market or a snack machine, located in or near the co-working space, will not allow those hungry for free time to remain hungry. Work work, comrades, and lunch on a schedule!

5. The one who will always come to the rescue

Any coworking begins with the receptionist. And in our case - with a community manager. This specialist did not receive this name by accident: he is the leader of the community, who pays attention to all residents, keeps order, solves administrative tasks, problems with equipment, seating, extending rent, helps to organize events, and so on. There is no way a community can do it, otherwise a mess will begin in the coworking community.
