The CarPlay application will “intelligently” determine when you are traveling by car, scanning wifi networks. The "do not interfere while I'm driving" mode will turn off the phone screen so that you do not get distracted while driving.
Similar integration is obtained in the updated AirPlay 2: this thing now controls the playback of music and movies that are played on different devices and in different rooms.
IPad owners are much more fortunate: for them, iOS 11 will become a system that can change their attitude to the tablet as a working device.
First of all, Apple has significantly rebuilt the Dock panel - now it is most similar to what is in Mac OS. The list of selected applications can be significantly expanded, and called from any screen with a simple swipe from below. It is especially convenient to use this “feature” when working with several windows: open one program, call the Dock, and drag out the desired application with your finger to another part of the screen.
Speaking of drag and drop: iPad debuts drag-and-drop! Now you can literally drag photos into your fingers with your fingers, and even a few pieces at a time. The notes themselves are replenished with a document scanner. The same with links: just click on the address in the Safari line and drag it, for example, to the mail.
