Pros and cons of working at night

Hello. So my three-month night mode of work came to an end, during this time I lost my health , I understood a lot and I want to share with you all the charms and terrible minuses of working at night.

Background

Before starting work

Weight: 78 kg

Condition: normal, vigor, fun.

Usually worked from 11:00 to 21:00 every day. There were no health problems, I did not complain. There was an offer for an increased fee to work at night, I agreed without hesitation, like several other people from my team. It was necessary to proceed immediately from the first of August. We had 2 days to prepare.

First month

August 1 , the day I started to go to bed in the morning. It all started simple: from 21:00 I continued to work until 6:00 in the morning. Fatigue was felt, dropping to sleep, as he tried not to fall asleep. The alarm rang, instantly fell asleep.

I woke up on August 2 at 13:40, having missed all the alarms that I set at 12:00. To a miracle without fatigue and drowsiness, very vigorously. The work was supposed to begin at 20:00, was engaged in ordinary affairs.

The second day of work was the same as the first, also fatigue, also drove to sleep. Again he fell asleep at 6:00 without problems.

For about a week there was a feeling of fatigue, then he went into normal mode. Woke up without alarms in the region from 13:30 to 14:30, fell asleep until 6:30 in the morning. But sometimes there was a feeling of a "dumb head", heaviness in the head.

Second month

Work began to be fun. You can feel the charms, for example, like: silence, only our team with whom we work, there are not so many distracting factors. No fatigue, nothing. As if all his life he worked like that. For the second month there is practically nothing to say, everything is ordinary.

Third month

Here is the most interesting month. We are completing the project, work with a foreign company is coming to an end, from the third week we stop working. On August 22, we received a 2-week vacation for rest for meeting deadlines and providing a bonus.

Day Return Day Point

Weight: 84 kg

Day 1 Here he again woke up as usual at 13:50, was engaged in household chores. At night I tried to sleep - I lay 4 hours, I decided to wait until the morning. 6:00, did not fall asleep. As a zombie walked all day until 20:00, passed out. Woke up at 4:00. (Four colleagues also went with this method in order to quickly return to the normal rhythm of life).

Day 2 From 4:00 it was very foggy in my head, a feeling of weightlessness. In general, horror and unbearable fatigue. Sleepy. He walked, wandered, performed a household routine. He fell asleep at 18:00 (About the same feelings the colleagues had).

Day 3-5 . Woke up from 3:00 to 6:00, went to bed in the same way from 18:00 to 21:00. The feelings are the same.

Day 6 He began to feel a strange pain in his head, as if everything was cracking, blood vessels were bursting. Two colleagues began to feel it for another 3 days. I went to the doctor. And here it began. Pressure: 145/100, tachycardia, irritability. Prescribed sedatives and drugs to lower blood pressure.

When I consulted with a family doctor, I heard: "This is from a downed biorhythm, it is advisable to take medicine, but it is better in case of urgent need."

The rest 2 days I just put up with high blood pressure, tachycardia only occasionally. They said it will pass in 2-3 weeks.

Minuses

In general, even those 2 colleagues who gradually changed their working mode from night to day feel the same disadvantages. Yes, and I do not recommend for any money to agree to such conditions. Or are we all doing something wrong? If you had a similar experience, I am waiting for your answers in the comments.
