The most high-profile bills of recent years are related to the regulation of Internet space: the Spring package, the so-called bill on sovereign runet. Now the digital environment is the subject of close attention of lawmakers and law enforcement. Russian legislation regulating activities on the Internet is only being created and tested in practice. They began to actively monitor Runet from 2012, when Roskomnadzor received its first authority to supervise web resources.
There are norms and requirements that must be met by the activities on the Internet of companies and ordinary citizens.
Clients of lawyers have questions in many areas related to the Internet: what is considered intellectual property, how to handle personal data, what you need to know about the rules for distributing content on the network, and how best to advertise on the Internet. These are pressing issues that relate to the activities of many companies. Not all lawyers have fully mastered digital law, therefore, those who are versed in issues of digital law are more in demand today.
Of course, you can get knowledge of digital law yourself by studying the innovations of the law, reading specialized publications in Russian and, in most cases, in English, but at the same time many questions can arise that are difficult to figure out on your own. In addition, according to many new laws, law enforcement practice is only taking shape, so you can understand how to work with them only when communicating with experts involved in the development of digital legislation. This area of law is changing especially rapidly, so it is advisable to regularly improve qualifications. On issues of practice, it is better to talk with experts and colleagues.

The Internet is a user interaction environment located in different jurisdictions. The program of our school takes this into account and includes the study of not only Russian, but also foreign legislation in the field of Internet regulation. Lectures by experts will help to understand how to act in accordance with this legislation, what risks may arise and how a company can prepare for changes in the legal environment.
For several days of schooling, they will consider all the most relevant areas of legal activity on the Internet. After graduation, participants will be able to join the closed club of cyber lawyers, where they will be able to communicate with colleagues on current issues of cyber law.
The digital rights center, the organizer of the school, has been operating in the market for seven years. As practitioners, the center’s experts know what legal problems clients face in cyberspace and how to solve them.
For more than 20 years, the Statut Law School for the Development of Lawyers has been engaged in academic activities and has state registration.
