Forewarned is forearmed. Attention, the motorcyclist on the radar

All welcome dear readers. The other day I was visited by one in my opinion a very bright thought. After some thought, I rush to write a publication and share it with you. In this publication you will not see the practical implementation of the idea, but I will present a theoretical version.



Since the time of writing the last publication, a decent amount of time has passed (by the way, those who have not seen one, you can read the link with it), and now a new thought was born that is in my opinion worthy of your attention.



Repeatedly I, I am sure, and you, had such situations that, while driving my vehicle, a motorcyclist rushed past unexpectedly at high speed.







There are many options for the consequences of such a journey, and I don’t feel like discussing this topic in this article. We all understand that it is necessary to look at the mirrors, turn on the turn signals, it is absolutely necessary to do all this, but the whole essence of my idea is not in this. The whole idea is to be prepared in advance for a situation that may occur in the next few minutes.



Nowadays, in the era of rapidly developing technologies in the field of motor transport, there are a lot of auxiliary tools for the driver, which in every possible way help facilitate driving. For example, such systems as cruise control (I agree is far from being a new function, but as an example it is perfectly suitable), control of blind zones, recognition of road signs, and so on.



So how can you protect yourself from motorcyclists who move with you in one direction, but sometimes fly by , do it so unexpectedly, spontaneously rushing past you, the only thing that remains is to twist a finger at the temple.



I repeat, everything proposed by me is my personal ideas, no one is forcing anyone to anything, I just propose to think about their safety and other road users.



Here is the work plan of the system:

1. A motorcyclist before his trip on his mobile gadget includes a mobile application, which is its own kind of transmitter, which adds a label about this road user, determines the coordinates and, in fact, that the most important thing begins sending its geo-location to the receiving devices.
   
   
   
   
2. A motorist as well as a motorcyclist includes on his mobile gadget an application that acts as a receiver, which is attention! performs the function of ordinary road maps (for example, Yandex or Google) with the possibility of including the "radar" function. A scan of the terrain occurs around the car and, in the event of approaching from behind, the motorcyclist reproduces an audible signal, thereby signaling a possible danger, and a ready-made motorist, for example, will once again cast his eyes on the mirrors.

In the settings of the application, I would lay the possibility of changing the detection range of a potential motorcyclist.

In my opinion, it remains an open question how to really be sure that a motorcyclist is really who he claims to be. You may have to go through the authentication system by entering the VIN number of the motorcycle. Although it may not be necessary at all, because if a motorist has a warning alarm, it does not oblige him.
